Another Before & After! This figure was smoke damaged and cleaned in a Ultrasonic Cleaning Machine. This specialized piece of equipment, which looks like a large tub, uses ultrasound waves to bathe objects after they’ve been damaged. This machine creates millions of tiny ‘explosions’ that lift the dirt off of objects without damaging the object itself. It’s often used on items like the figure below, which would be extremely difficult to clean by hand because of all of the little nooks and crannies! It also works well on jewelry and can even be used on electronics when used in conjunction with our other electronic cleaning equipment!
